Attention student fit kid coaches! Our training session is Thursday morning next week! Please have proper shoes and gym strip and be rested! It will be a tiring morning!

LA – Poetry. We have written haiku, limericks and emotion poems.

MATH – Long division. Ask your child to solve: 485 ÷ 3. For a tougher challenge, try 654 ÷ 7.

SCIENCE – The Nervous system. Ask your child what the “headquarters” of the nervous system is called. How are messages sent from the brain to other parts of the body? Can they tell you about the three main parts of the brain? (Frontal, rear, lower)

SOCIAL STUDIES – The students should all have their chapter 3 test scores.

FRENCH – Test and booklet due on Winter vocabulary on Friday. Translate: Chaussettes, foulard, pantalon, des gants, chandail, manteau.

ART – Some beautiful pastel stained glass projects! Check them out in the hall if you have a chance.

Please dress warmly! Unless it is extremely cold, the students will be outside at recess and lunch. Fresh air, movement and exercise are all important after sitting for most of the time inside the classroom.

Cheers!
